i donīt know if this is where we post pictures of the finished centre but here goes anyway.

The centre is in two halves as I plan to put the backing on in two halves and QITD.

Interested to hear all the options on the quilt backing. I really donīt like the one I have used for DJ. In my opinion its too thin. I wonīt be using it for the AOTH. Really I could use it double and it wouldnīt be as thick as some I have seen. when I quilt I like fluffy designs. So I am going to try out some of the ones you have suggested. I will buy from the web as there are no options at my LQS. The choice of you all seems to be the wool, but doe that not shrink??

Blinky, I donīt think it really was wasteful, just remember just cut it around 1/4 inch larger than your block and you should be okay, perhaps a mean 1/4".

Won't most of the natural battings shrink to some extent Elle? I think I would be more concerned about wool felting, but I suppose that if it were to be washed in very cool water, with little or no agitation, then that shouldn't happen should it?

Elle, she is gorgeous!!!!...There is some glare on my monitor, but I can tell....she is just yummy, yummy!!! So...now on to your border...(*snap*...sound of the whip cracking!)

I got all the QITD done on my tri border yesterday. I'm down to doing the trapunto tris and then I'm done. I'm torn.....I don't know whether to do pebbliing or micro stippling around my trapunto design....hmmmmmm. I hate it when I get stuck on a decision.

Right, but I just need a little break, may be a day or to to get my head in gear again.
